This tragedy set us all reeling, as we've realized the horror of how much toxic crude oil continues to gush at enormous pressures more than a mile below the ocean's surface.  On Wings Of Care was there in May and again in June and will be there again in early July, flying aerial photographers and scientists to search for wildlife and document conditions of the ocean ecosystem, and participating in workshops to study what significant solutions are available and how the public sector can contribute. “Man can no longer live for himself alone.
We must realize that all life is valuable and that we are united to all life. From this knowledge comes our spiritual relationship with the universe.”

On Wings of Care is dedicated to promoting the welfare of domestic animals and wildlife and their habitats by helping with searches, rescues, transports, rehabilitation, and scientific research.  Our efforts include:

• Coordination of services by experienced pilots, scientists, veterinarians, photographers, and wildlife rehabbers and specialists

• Preparation and dissemination of information and education related to the rescue, rehabilitation, raising, conservation, and protection of animals and their habitats

While there are many efforts and projects that
On Wings Of Care volunteers support indirectly with our own funds, letters, petitions, and efforts, there are several major areas of effort on which we've chosen to focus directly and intensely in the past few years.  Some of the more recent ones are listed below; just follow the links below to see more.
